For over a decade, this time of year has marked the start of a road trip to Farm Aid. But as with just about every other gathering, that isn’t the case in 2020. No road trip with a van full of supplies, people, and seltzers! But there will be a Farm Aid! It’ll be virtual, and although I’m looking forward to this virtual Farm Aid Festival on September 26, I already miss all the hustle and bustle that has gone into getting ready for, being present at, and recovering from Farm Aid!

Kathy Ozer – A Fighter for Family Farmers With Integrity, Knowledge and Commitment passed away
Almost everyone in the country involved with family farmer issues knew Kathy Ozer. We also knew that she had been sick for a while and thought she was getting better. On January 22, the cancer – non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma – finally took her from us. She was 58 years old.
Kathy Ozer, ¡Presente!
We are deeply saddened to report the passing of our beloved, courageous and steadfast leader and friend, Kathy Ozer. Her indefatigable optimism and resolve eventually were not enough to overcome her cancer, and she died peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017.
