Our member groups are our strength
NFFC members share a commitment to a sustainable family farm system – one that produces safe and healthy foods and results in vibrant, economically sound, rural communities in the US and around the world.
To become an NFFC member, an organization must be a grassroots group working on behalf of family farmers, ranchers, and/or fishers.
All member organizations must pay annual dues, set at 0.5 percent of the group’s annual budget, with a minimum of $250 and maximum of $1,000.
To apply for membership, please contact using the form below and we’ll follow up with you. We formally vote on admission of new members at our winter board meetings.

Learn:Tap into successful campaigns from other member groups and gainideas and support for your own issues.
Influence:Help to shape NFFC’s national policy agenda and strategies.
Speak:Respond to our regular requests for farmers to share stories with the media.
We support participation of a representative from each member organization to attend NFFC’s member meetings, which are held twice a year in late summer and mid-winter. We also organize annual fly-ins to Washington, DC, to speak with your elected representatives in Congress. Between in-person meetings, members stay in touch through a listserv and stay up-to-date with a weekly members-only newsletter and members-only website content.
