Tristan Quinn-Thibodeau

Land Campaigner

Tristan Quinn-Thibodeau is the Land Campaigner with the National Family Farm Coalition (NFFC), where he builds grassroots support for public policies to ensure land access for family-scale farmers and rural communities, particularly those that have experienced historical land theft and dispossession. He also coordinates a coalition working to stop the increasing corporate control over farmland, and he previously worked in Washington D.C. for ActionAid USA, an international development and human rights organization, where he led domestic global policy and corporate campaigns to track and challenge large-scale land acquisitions. Before that, he worked for WhyHunger in New York City, where he supported grassroots food and farm organizations in the US, Latin America, West Africa, and Southeast Asia. He grew up in southern Maine, where he spent a lot of time on small farms. He has a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Maine and an M.A. in Political Philosophy from the New School of Social Research in New York City. He lives in Philadelphia, PA.
