Lateefah is a seasoned development professional with over seven years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relationship management. Lateefah specializes in crafting compelling narratives through grant writing, cultivating and stewarding donor relationships, and developing strategic fundraising plans. Lateefah developed an appreciation of land and water stewardship as a child, having grown up in a farming community on the Hudson River before relocating to Portland, OR, a city known for its green infrastructure. These early experiences and exposures planted her interest in the politics, discourse, race, and power dynamics that shape our relationships with each other and the environment.

She attended Clarkson University for her undergraduate studies and obtained a bachelor's in Political Science and Law. She then relocated to New York City, earning her Master's in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School, focusing on housing, health, and community development. While in NYC, Lateefah began her fundraising and grant writing career, having worked with a wide range of non-profit organizations. She is committed to fostering sustainable change and centers her work on building long-term partnerships and advancing grassroots and community-driven solutions. Outside of work, Lateefah has a ceramics practice that she dedicates time to - connecting to her creative side, playing with clay, and building community with fellow artists in her area of South Florida.
